I came to Kyoto in search of my missing father, Yukimura Kodou , a practioner of Western medicine. I was taken to the Shinsengumi headquarters after being saved from some Rasetsu by Hajime Saito, Okita Souji & Hijikata Toshizo, where they allowed me to stay, because they too were in search of my father.
Kazama Chikage seeks me out to create a lineage of pureblooded Oni. I am the wielder of a short sword which is a mate to Kaoru's (my brother) katana. They are part of the Yukimura Family's heirloom.
